Hell, Jay even has his own Wikipedia page!
Yeah my regular physician also does my flight physical, so hot that going for me.
It's ridiculous how backed up they are. As a "for revenue" pilot, Dr. Bruce was able to get my renewal approved over the phone and I was able to walk out with certificate in hand. It then took 5 months to get the actual letter in hand!
Wow, reading the Wikipedia page shows him to be quite the interesting character.
Yeah, we non revenue pilots have to wait our turn in the queue.
The year of a conspicuous absence of photos/vids/live blogs
Wasn’t that Spike’s usual job?
Appears 6PC heard ya loud and clear! Nice pics Bryan, real nice.
At least it's an asphalt runway and thus Kimberly wouldn't be able to aerate it with her spike heels as she runs out to catch a ride!
That's J-Cray in the right seat
ok ok, flying, planes, yadda yadda. how 'bout some incriminating pics now!
Two of the worst landings I’ve had in that airplane. Argh.
Well, if those were your worst, you are doing pretty good. They were definitely nothing to be ashamed of.
Climb out was a little rough- but climbing at over 1000fpm at 4000' was an eye opener - tie those birds down!
I think I have a good pic of Bryan and john's airplanes on the Nikon. But it is dinner time.
For now- this is all I got.
and let’s not forget the duck with a view
Anyone else catch this?
Briany wants to jump out of the plane
Just an observation.
Looks like y’all are having a great time. I see we are missing a popup canopy!
I got a call Friday morning from Gaston’s wondering if I’d be showing up... I had to remind them that I canceled my hold on cabin 6 back in July! Apparently it didn’t actually get removed from the books. So, it may be available if anyone needs a room near the flightline!
11:30 Sat. Y'all better be at the dam right now
Kent says we're not drunk enough yet
did y'all get that cold front last night? Might make southerly destinations a little speedier today
We got it the cold front. We're currently trapped like rats cuz we weren't smart (or sober) enough to reposition out planes to Baxter County...
The field is sandy and dries quickly (sand is also pretty soft and cushions "line over" impacts well!).
The exception is that low spot at the west end between the parking area and main lobby...if they still haven't fixed it. By noon or early afternoon you should be good to go, especially with the forecast winds helping with the drying process.
I don't think they've had any significant rain in that area for quite a while either...that should also help.
So glad that front came through us northerners can enjoy some more headwinds on the return. Mooney will be at Cessna speeds, and Cessna will be at Grumman speeds.
That was hurtful to the Gruman Owners
Sent from my SM-N920V using Tapatalk
but also kinda funny....
Except Bryan will likely be flying at Mooney speeds...and laughing all the way back to Dallas.
this is true,
and of course it was funny!!!!!
Andrew and Cici are the last airplanes out at 14:15 local time. Us ground pounders a few minutes later.
Here you go.
We're home. I should have some good aviation video to upload a bit later.
