Delegate, relegate or telecommute? And bring that Jesse guy with you, who has been quite absent from this thread.

I keep hearing about this Jesse guy, but I am beginning to doubt his existence. Is he real?

Added hamburger patties for Saturday. I could also bring some ground venison for Friday if anything thinks they'd like it.

Oh, and I'm bringing some homemade Eastern Ohio apple moonshine that I got (and can't drink 'cause I'm a puzzy!).

Thanks for all the sign-ups for food items, folks. Copying Tim's list to this post and adding beans to the Friday night list. How'd I forget beans?!?!!?

And FYI: @timwinters homemade chocolate ice cream is, in and of itself, sufficient reason to fly across the country to be at Gaston's.

Does anyone remember an earlier message to me saying if I didn't make it to Gaston's this year they were going to come out and get me and bring me to the get together? ( a hint: a lawyer from Dalles!)

Well. Good news is that I now know I can come. Bad news is that of course it's impossible to get a cabin this late. Does anyone have space? It'd be Linda and I, arriving on the 14th, departing on the 16th.

I'm in the same boat - Still hoping the plane will be done with annual by then, but unless something's seriously broken, it should be.

Who decided to have a wedding on a fly-in weekend?

If anyone decides to cancel, I would be happy to take over your reservation and save you the cancellation fee!

We are planning on driving down on the 13th and leaving the 16th with the kids. 414 is still inop (no props), so it'll be in the BMW. It's like a plane, right? :)

I'll confirm with Laurie and update the list accordingly.

Ted, if you all will be driving down I-49, please stop in to see us going to and/or from Gaston's. Our farm/airport is only one mile east of the interstate, between Lamar and Jasper. Tom and I would love to meet your family. :) Perhaps the kids will need a stop to burn off energy. :) Weather permitting, Bob Bement will fly in here on Thursday and spend the night before flying on to Gaston's on Friday. Bruce and Sue plan to fly to our farm on their way home on Sunday. We're looking forward to seeing our friends here. :)

I should have checked to see if LTD was on line before asking a serious Question. Trying to figure out how early I am going to have to get up Thursday morning to get to Bull Shoals, set up and drive over to Gastons for Pizza. Planning to overnight in Terre Haute Wednesday night and it is about 9 hours from there to Bull Shoals.

Will those turkeys be falling on the Dam approach, or if I get there Friday morning will they already be at Gastons?

I am getting ready and excited to be going. I will spend Wednesday night with Tony and Leah in Wichita, and Thursday night with Tom and Diana in Jasper at the farm and plan on getting to Gastons on Friday morning sometime. Looking forward to renewing old friends and meeting some new ones.
