Auto gas is dropping like a rock around here. Prices for auto gas under $3. Avgas has not dropped a dime, anyone see a drop in Avgas price.:popcorn:
 
I saw regular gas for $2.83 yesterday. Avgas hasn't budged in months, and that was an increase.
 
2.66 is the lowest I have seen here.
Cheapest AvGas in my area is 4.60
 
I saw 2.61, then inexplicably it jumped to 3.25 the next day.
 
AvGas tends to lag auto gas by about 6 months due to its low consumption. There are also other factors for AvGas transport that don't impact Mogas the same.

This does swing both ways to some degree. When I started flying 7 years ago 100LL had a point where it was around $4/gallon. 93 was around... $4/gallon. Then 100LL went up about 6 months later.
 
The cheapest around here is 2.62. A few other areas at 2.69. The average is closer to 2.75.

Cheapest AvGas is $4.69 with the average being about $5.25.

Lowest 100LL in SC is $4.96 at KBNL. Self serve at KCDN is $5.25, but I buy from the FBO at $5.61 when supplementing my mogas. Non-ethanol mogas was $3.29 last week. Least expensive mogas I've seen this week is $2.79.

175nm to go direct.

I currently have about 50 gallons in the plane, and max at 86.
175nm (no wind) at 150kts is about 1.25hrs when I figure climbout. Be about $284 topping off at at EYE, then putting in 17 gallons at 9D9 at 5.89 for another $100 to have full tanks at home. Total: $384

Continuing on from EYE to OXI will burn another 8 gallons. So I'm down to 25 gallons. Filling up at OXI will run $307 and then I'm putting in 8 gallons at 9D9 at $5.89 an additional $47 to have full tanks at 9D9. Total: $354.

Yep, saves me $30. Rough numbers. Might be a little less than $30

Avgas has been dropping steadily around here. Filled up at LVK last weekend at $5.07, it's down to $4.97 now. Lots of others barely over $5.00.
Poisoned car gas has dropped to a little over $3.00 too, not bad for CA.

I can't tell. Are you factoring in the additional descent and climb out?
 
The price of av gas seems to be coming down,everywhere. Just be patient.
