Garmin GTX 345 - Backup AHRS question

I'm trying to decide between the Stratus ESG and GTX 345 ADS-B transponders.

Does the GTX 345 have a backup battery internally that would run the AHRS in the event of an electrical failure, or do you lose AHRS functionality in that scenario? I found a couple of early articles that seemed made reference backup battery, but I can't see anything in the Garmin manuals about it.

There is no backup battery in the GTX345. You would need to purchase, get approval and install one.
