Hello everyone. I've been thinking about getting an Aera 660 but I'm wondering if Garmin has something in the works to replace it with something of the same dimensions? I know they just released the 760 but I find it too big. Any comments?

Garmin will never admit to a new product until it is released. They don’t want to be stuck with out of date product.

Yup. Its been three or four years since the 660 was introduced. I was wondering if a goodie would appear at Oshkosh.

This is why you won't know about it until it's already here:

760 looks neat, but other than a few features, it is a larger 660 to me.

I had a 496 and I replaced it with the 660 which was a HUGE leap forward for my panel. I'd rather use the devices available now than wait for something that will eventually come.

Any improvements in the 660 can be done via software, I think the processor and display are modern enough and don’t think it’s limited by them.
