Pulled mine out of my flight bag and the screen is cracked and unresponsive to touch.
Looks like a new replacement screen is $50 but I can't tell from looking at the device how to disassemble the thing to replace the screen.

Anyone ever done this?

Probably should just toss it but if I could repair it for 50 bucks, I would like to keep using it.

Since it is the same hardware as a common car GPS that Garmin made, you could probably bring it to your local cell phone screen repair shop and have them do it.

Oh! That's a great idea. I forget this isn't a real avionic. I will see what I have locally.
Thanks!

Make a Youtube video about the repair, rack up enough views to pay for the repair.

Post it on POA, listen to complaints about rich Youtubers.

How can Cluemeister be so clueless? It's not the wealth of YouTube Heroes that is offensive, it's the YTH's that are only farming for clicks.

OP participates regularly. Always has, hopefully always will.

I thought everyone from Texas had at least one fixall tool in the tool box....
