I’m looking for current info on runway conditions at Furnace Creek, L06. There’s a year-old thread with good info, but it’s a year old. The Chart Supplement seems more pessimistic about runway condition than the dated first hand accounts I’ve found. My aircraft is a 182 and she wears pants.

UP TO 4 INCH SALT HEAVE ARND RWY CRACKS. COULD DMG ACFT WITH WHEEL FAIRINGS OR CAUSE A POTENTIAL TO BLOW OUT A TIRE.

Oh, I would head right over there.

There is a current PIREP on Furnace Creek on Beechtalk, if you are a member. Synopsis- runway is a little rough but very doable in a Baron 55. Can call the lodge for a ride out there for lunch or for a stay.

Nah, I’m too proper. A little inspection pass and see how it looks should be good. I’ll post my findings.

Flew out there and the runway is rough, but not abusive. Stay on centerline and be alert for loose chunks of pavement/rocks. Most of the big stuff is closer to the runway edges.
