Here's a fun one for ya'll. Be careful not to drop your fuel probe measuring stick thing into the fuel tank while you are measuring fuel. Took me an hour to figure out how to get it out. Had to have a buddy bring a massive claw grabber thing.
 
They make a red wing looking device that you slip over the stick too.

Did that as a green student pilot back in the day. One second it was in my hand, next second it was gone. As far as I know, it may still be in the tank of that Cessna 150.
