French "JetMan" Killed

Watching the video and seeing the helicopter makes me wonder if the "training accident" involved rotorwash. It made me recall the death of hang gliding great Bob Wills, killed while filling a Jeep commercial in the 70s.
 
Why do I so badly want to take one of these for a ride? o_O
