Foreign Anthems

I was born and raised near Pittsburgh, PA. I must of been at least ten before I began to suspect that The Beer Barrel Polka was not the National Anthem! :smile:

Most Europeans aren't really into anthems and flags to the same extent as the US.

My six years in Europe suggests that's not a completely accurate statement. Their attitudes may be different, but they feel just as strongly in those attitudes, and in some places, you can lose your freedom and (if the authorities don't intervene in time) even your life over disrespect to national symbols. Tread carefully.
