I just discovered this feature.
I don’t use FF as a logbook.
Is there a simple way to turn on all filed flights, so I can use Recap?

I don't use foreflight log for my official flight logging, but I do tell track logs to log each flight. I don't adjust the numbers, it is what it is. That way at the end of the year I'm able to have the recap (approximate).

Perhaps you can go back to each track log flight and tell it to log it and that will create your recap?

AFAIK it's a logbook function. Basically, you'd need to at least log every flight even if you didn't use the logbook for anything else.

I don't know if you are using any kind of eLog, but some others have that functionality. Maybe more. For example, I can paint a map of pretty much anything I can query in MyFlightBook, not just flights in the past year.

I’m on myflightbook, I’ll check there
Nothing to it. Just go to "Airports Visited" and do a past year query. The query engine can give you pretty much anything you want. Here's an off-the-wall example. This is a map of airports visited in the past five years while giving instruction in a glass cockpit retractable airplane :D That's about 30 seconds work.

Where on FF do you find airports visited?
Thanks

Is there a way to disable this? It's not worth the 1/4" of UI space it takes up.

MyFlightbook has a year in review function. View it here:

oh that's pretty cool, thanks.
I think the map needs work however... I did not ever go over the ocean this year lol
And those flights on Jan 1, 35hrs must be catch up hours for ones I discovered unlogged.
I logged some of the survey flights as one flight; those can be 6 flights a day.
so some of the bogus numbers are logging errors/technique

The ForeFlight version had me flying through the FRZ over DC (where I’d be shot down) and 20 miles off shore (probably causing an instant heart attack from fright) another time. I think it just draws a straight line from departure to destination

Note that the starburst you see in your image isn't flights to islands in the ocean, it's just a way to manage clicking on multiple overlapping airports when you are zoomed out. If you zoom in, it won't starburst like that. Where is it showing a transoceanic flight? If so, it's probably an errant airport code.
