Received this email and it doesn't look good:

"The above referenced insurance policy xxxxxxxx through Global Aerospace will expire at 12:01 A.M. on June 01, 2026.

Global Aerospace would like to inform you of the following:
The conditions in all segments of the aviation insurance market continue to evolve as the industry works to quantify the impact of the claims trends, costs, and growth in utilization, all of which have an impact on rates and premiums. As a result, the above-referenced policy may be subject to a premium change with respect to the upcoming renewal.

For additional details, please contact ACRISURE, LLC on 866-647-4322 or email at [email protected].

Sincerely,

Global Aerospace - AeroInsure"

I wonder if switching brokers would make any difference? Acrisure (formerly know as Falcon) had advised Global was good for keeping older pilots insured at last year's renewal.

I've been getting that same email before renewal with Global every year since at least 2022 (which is as far back as I've saved it).
My rates have gone up occasionally, but not what I consider excessively, especially when compared to the alternatives.

I have received this year's copy, but have not yet seen the quote.

Nauga,
and the boilerplate disclaimer

Yup, standard disclaimer that I received a few months prior to expiration of my previous term. My rate was reduced because of more experience in M/M.

I received the same boilerplate language from them, for renewal due by March 1. But my policy only went up by ~$30 for the annual premium - about a 2% increase, no changes in coverage.

switching brokers might give you access to more underwriters (although i doubt that's true switching from acrisure), but the rates will not change.

I just renewed with Global (via Assured Partners) and the rate for my Warrior actually went down $16 compared to last year. Not a lot but clearly not up. The renewal date is technically in mid April.

Got a similar e-mail before my policy expired. No major change in premium, the increase was due to me adding a few mods to the plame and increasing the hull value.
