Touchdown! Greaser!
I am posting for my wife who just got her license in January. (I quit flying in 1978 due to eyesight and hearing problems). She has about 50 hours cross country in her Cessna 172 since getting her license. She flew from East Florida to Mississippi through the Panama City/ Destin corridor. She is actually a very good pilot and is comfortable on the radio and using flight following. She has a Garmin 496 GPS. With all that background, she is planning to fly from Florida to Gwinnett County Ga, which is just north of that giant, intimidating place knows as ATL. Are there any special words of wisdom or special rules she needs to be aware of? She took an on-line course prior to flying through Destin, and that was helpful. Is there anything similar for Atlanta?
