Fly-In Spots for Westcoast Trip

Hi all,
I‘m planning a trip of around 20 flight hours starting from San Diego.
I am looking for nice spots to fly in and stay for a day or two.
I currently only have Palm Springs, Page Municipal Airport and Grand Canyon on my list.
Any recommendations?

What's the destination?

KIZA (Santa Ynez) - can get to Solvang and wineries fairly quickly, and there are hotels in town for overnight stays.

If you have life vests (and/or a raft), maybe KAVX (Catalina Island)?

Thanks! Yes, Catalina Island looks fun too. We do have life jackets. Sedona looks nice as well.
I’ve also now read that Columbia O22 has to be nice and Las Vegas is pretty much on the way.
Glad for any other recommendations!
