I'm not the seller; I have no financial interest in its eventual sale.
However, I snapped a photo of the posting on the cork board, today, at Twitchell's Airport 3B5, Turner, Maine. The referenced "Dale" is
Dale Twitchell.

Let's assume, hypothetically, that I had a SES rating and bought that plane (which looks great in the picture, BTW). Straight floats. That would be an interesting flight planning exercise to figure out how to get it from Maine to western Washington. Not terribly long legs on a float equipped 172N. Straight floats (or so it appears in the photo), so you've got to land on water. And that water better have 100LL at the dock. Sounds like IFR (I follow rivers) to me. But, fuel availability? Sounds like an adventure.

Wouldn't be a bad ride back to Vermont:) now if someone would donate the 65,000 for me it would be great:blueplane:

I got this email from a guy in Nigeria. He needs my help to get some dough out of his country. I really am quite busy to deal with him right now, I'll forward your name and email address to him. Part of the deal is a good pay off for the person who helps him. Perhaps you can just use that as security for a loan for this floatplane? ;);)
