My son Seth was home for spring break last week and needed to go to Sedona for a flight with his instructor/mentor. I offered to fly us in the Cardinal since the weather was finally looking good. Flight time was 1.6 hrs from Springerville (KJTC), stronger headwinds than forcast. Once we were on the ground we found Clarke's hangar and found out he was introducing Seth to spins in the Great Lakes biplane. Did the safety briefing on the chute and how to bail out if needed and off they went. After his flight we went to the restaurant on the field and had the $100 hamburger and then headed home. I hadn't flown to Sedona in about 20 years, it's still a great destination!
