Can flight service give out a weather forecast for lets just say 3 days from now? If they can, how how far out can they forecast for?

I believe that would be an "outlook briefing".

However, what you get from FSS is no better than what you get from www.aviationweather.gov for a forecast 3 days into the future.

Also on Weather.gov, look toward the bottom of the page after searching for the city or zip code. Click the link for Forecast Discussion. That's where the human forecasters talk about what they are seeing from the trends and computer models. Often some really helpful stuff to learn why what is going to happen will happen.

I like windy.com. I like to think the technology that is used is very accurate. That way, I can keep daydreaming about flying 10 days from now instead of having to do the work thing. (which, my job, is really rad for a flying gig)

None of the FSS weather products extend beyond 48 hours.
