Flight school/ clubs to do the Hudson River tour from

Will be in New York in April, if time permitted, I was wanting to do the Hudson river tour with a cfi, I would also need to rent their plane, Any recommendations?

You mean the river? When people say bay it usually refer somewhere much more north.

 

Can’t help with the CFI, but FYI Hudson Bay is in Canada.

Some specificity would help: The Hudson River is a 315-mile (507 km) river that flows from north to south primarily through eastern New York.

Southern Hudson River, say up to West Point and back?

Call flight schools in the area you want to see. I was in the USVI during Covid and just called a flight school and asked if I could have a lesson where I just did some sightseeing. It was great fun.

 

Ok, I didn’t realize the river was so long.

I have heard of people flying up the river next to the city, so, in the vicinity area to see the city.

 

Fun fact: it’s actually tidal for 153 miles (up to Albany).
