Flying back from lunch, I see a rather nice looking steed on the ramp. very unusual because the airport is open but still under construction. Walk over to take a gander and hear all sorts of sirens coming. Red and blue lights in convoy...

So I hold back at the terminal and watch them all shuttle out to the plane. Out of a tan Suburban pops out Bill Clinton, Mark Pryor, Mike Ross and AR state Governor Mike Beebe. Along with a slew of Conway PD and a bunch of "suits" talking into their jacket cuffs and looking shady.

I wanted to go urinate on the tires and leave a dookie on the steps, but too much heat was present. Nothing but a bunch of crooks and back stabbers in a G5 making the air smell around Conway.... Glad they left. We don't need trash like that in our town. :raspberry:

Nada....that was my first thought....but nothing published. I came in on FF so I'd imagine even if I missed it, I would have been vectored or advised.

Former presidents don't get TFRs. A couple years ago we were at Omaha when W showed up, went out to his G-V, and left. We weren't even restricted from being on the ramp.

They must have forgotten about global warming. I'm sure they feel really sorry about how much fuel that thing burns.

And, I seem to recall that Clinton, or maybe Bush, is the last former POTUS that will get SS protection. Subsequent presidents are on their own after 10 years.

Oops...old data, I didn't know about the new law...or didn't remember...one of the two.

Former presidents were entitled from 1965 to 1996 to lifetime Secret Service protection, for themselves and spouses and children under 16. A 1994 statute, (Pub.L. 103–329), limited post-presidential protection to ten years for presidents inaugurated after January 1, 1997.[7] Under this statute, Bill Clinton would still be entitled to lifetime protection, and all subsequent presidents would have been entitled to ten years' protection.[8] On January 10, 2013, President Barack Obama signed legislation reinstating lifetime Secret Service protection for himself, George W. Bush, and all subsequent presidents.[9

When I worked line service a king air flew in to pick up Chelsea Clinton one time. She reeked of booze.
 
What is good old "W" doing these days? Haven't heard much about him recently.

We used to get those types every four years, when I lived in Iowa. It was...awful.

I'll never forget being kept from flying my family home because John Edwards was due back from making an "appearance"... As if that waste of DNA was somehow "important". :mad2:

Govt VIP transport. Many of those aircraft are forfeited by drug cartels when they get caught. I have flown in a Lear 35 used by the FAA for in flight inspection of ILS that was confiscated from some drug kingpin years ago.
 
George w. Bush flew in state of Texas beech 200 formerly owned by CIA and Barry seal, drug hauler. Common occurance apparently.
