First Solo (images included)!

I had my first solo flight today! After expressing some concern that we hadn't practiced emergency landings or go-around's, my instructor took me up and showed me a few simulated forced landings and had me do a few as well. Then he showed me how to go around and had me do a few.

After one more touch-and-go, he told me to make it a full stop and bring him to the tower! I honestly wasn't expecting to solo, but that made it even more exciting!

I did three landings, two being full stops and taxi-backs. He said I did great and my radio communications were flawless. I ended up having a good bit of traffic in the pattern by my second landing, but it wasn't an issue.

I had a blast! :D

Thanks everyone!!

I did my second solo yesterday and had some issues between myself and ATC. Nothing serious, just a ton of miscommunications. It was enjoyable none-the-less! Plus, I got to fly before this snow got here this morning! :p
