First solo done!

Congratulations! I am glad to hear it went well.

I am at the exact same stage, minus the solo. I have about 16 hours, and my next step is my first solo. I am not concerned so much with my ability to handle the plane, but am worried about an emergency, more particularly engine failure on takeoff.

Any recommendations for getting around such a worrisome, well... worry?

Congratulations. Great job. It is one of the best feelings after getting that first solo under your belt.
 
Congrats, bet the instructor was more nervous than you were.
 
Congratulations. Airplane seems to fly better without the cfi occupying the right seat, doesnt it?
