Just so all my Iowa buddies like Tony know, I finally added Iowa to states I've landed and taken off in.

Today we took N 6 2 1 R B to Orange City (ORC). Spent about 15 min looking at the Angel pusher twins they build there. Flew 38 whole NM to KSUX to get fuel cause getting out of a 4100' runway limited us to 2000# of fuel. Flew back to Athens after a nutritious Subway sandwich. (Who says they don't have fine dining in Iowa? :D)

At the SUX FBO they were loading up a MD80 chartered for a tour Neil Diamond was doing. The FBO people said it was all booze.:cheerswine:

cool lance, I talked to a guy who flies Lears out of Le Mars for Blue Bunny. only about 4500 feet of useable runway for takeoff, thanks to some overruns. you gotta find a good reason for the boss to come to ames sometime! :yes:
 
I think they have some tee shirts that say "I flew into SUX"....or something kinda funny with the name for sale at the FBO.
