I have a pretty boring list of frequently-visited websites (not that this one is boring, understand, but the list in general.....:D). Mostly news, local sports, and weather sites.

I figured with all the webaholics on this board (yeah, I'm talkin' to you Scott Migaldi!:p) some folks here would have some interesting sites they consider worth visiting.

Well?

Well?

I really only have a few sites that I look at outside of work.

Two state newspaper web editions, POA, red board, TI170A web forum, backcountrypilots.org occasionally, University of Alaska aurora forecast...Google news aggregator...Facebook...Alaska Outdoors Forums. Wikipedia for looking up information. A couple of Google Groups about Park Service issues...and I read Doonesbury every day online.

That's about it for regular visits, at least outside of work.

Right now I have open email, POA, jetcareers, work stuff, weather stuff, work stuff, facebook, atc-sim.com, and netflix. Not exactly exciting, either. :dunno:

POA, Purple Board, a cummins diesel site, RV.net and a couple of Jeep forums ... and Oracle tech support always open in the background

PoA, my Animal Rescue Flight page, Facebook, FlightAware, and AviationWeather.gov.

PoA
BeechTalk.com
DFWPilots.com
Purple
(rarely) Red (every time I go, I remember why I left)

Astronomy Pic of the Day
Craigslist
Facebook
YouTube
Woot
WX Underground
FlightAware, PacificNorthwestFlying, POA, RisingUp
ASO, Barnstormers, Controller, eBay
Airline Pilot Central, Anet, Global-Air
ADDS, AirNav, Duats, SkyVector

POA, Purple Board, Backcountry Pilots.org, Red Board, Jetcareers.com., Youtube.com, Airnav.com

Well?

Migaldi spends so much time on PoA that he doesn't have time for the rest of the web.

Right now, I mainly have PoA and job sites. I also have a bunch of airplane porn open - I find planes through Trade-a-Plane and globalplanesearch.com (which searches ASO, Controller, and a bunch of others all at once - Pretty much everything but TaP).

I use SkyVector and RunwayFinder frequently, ADDS for weather.

For some reason, I still use My Yahoo for news/sports/stocks/etc. aggregation even though I swore I would get rid of them after they forced their new, "improved" site on me. Just haven't gotten used to iGoogle yet.

And, I do keep an eye on Twitter as well. (twitter.com/flyingcheezhead )

Hmmm:
POA / AOPA
advrider.com
killboy.com
spaceflightnow.com / astronomynow.com
ADDS
Several photography forums
Pandora
mapquest and several DOT road weather sites
gasprice map
several campground lists -- and when that fails, sanidumps.com

I guess I forgot to mention that I listen to music at home most times from www.pandora.com, though I am no longer accessing it through my web browser.

OK, that's cool. Thanks.

I wonder if anyone has made a hack to allow an Audiotron to play Pandora?

xkcd.com
fark.com
facebook.com
icanhascheezburger.com
gizmodo.com
consumerist.com

and my various MINI sites. :D

On the Firefox tab thingie:

Babes
POA
AOPA (for some reason won't let me log in anymore....)
BMW Motorcycle owners Assoc
The Chain Gang (for BMW F650GS owners)
Airheads (for BMW airhead owners)
Adventure Rider
Wild Guzzi (Moto Guzzi board)
Guzzitech
Honda Rebel 250 group
Bernina Central (Bernina sewing machine group)

Maybe not interesting to everyone, but it keeps me occupied during these long, mind numbing winter months.

PoA
AOPA
FAA
FAAsafety
LiveATC
Netflix
Boortz
NASCAR
Linked In
Facebook

Ahh, I forgot about xkcd and icanhascheezburger, although I don't go to either on a daily basis, more like whenever I'm inspired to (usually on weekends). One of my friends goes daily and usually sends me links to the best ones.

The best one yet was the "Flowcharts Explained" flowchart.

On a daily basis:
POA
FaceBook
jocci.com
jeepforum.com
northridge4x4.com

For the past few days:
php.net
technet.microsoft.com/en-us/sqlserver/default.aspx
google.com <- by far a dumb programmers best 'tool'

Why were the spaceships shaped like DC-8s???? :D:D:D
Well.....

I think that had a lot to do with the head case and amount of drugs he was taking when he dreamed the farcical mess up!

The DC-8 was one of the more advanced piece of aviation hardware at the time and in his view I am sure the reason we dreamed it up was as a result of the Thetan influence on our minds.

What is your question?

I've looked at Operation Clambake but wouldn't put it up there with my favorite sites. Not that interested.

My favorites are all internet porn. No wonder those guys need a bailout, they give tons away for free!

That xenu stuff is, well, I don't know what to say. Jaw-dropping? Is that Sea Organization for real? I mean, honestly, what in the name of Pete is going on? I can't even follow everything - it's so convoluted and wacked out you'd have to be dropping acid or something to make any sense of it at all.

Wow.

Wow.
It is real and you will see Travolta and Cruise in their sea org uniform from time to time. To be fair if we want to talk about Xenu we should take it to the SZ and not have it as part of this thread.

OOOPS, I forgot I was out of the SZ asylum. Good call.
