In an effort to minimize the negative impact of spammers who manage to break through our defenses, we have instituted a new policy regarding new user accounts.
New users (that is, fully registered users who have made less than 5 posts), will be forbidden from using the IMG tag, the URL tag, or from uploading attachments.

Outage Notice - PoA Offline 2/15/2008 - NOON EST |

Pilots of America will be off-line starting at or around Noon, tomorrow, February 15, 2008, for approximately one hour.
The purpose of the downtime is to migrate final web and data updates to our new host provider (Jesse), and to switch PoA operations to the new servers.

Four months ago, Pilots of America opted to switch hosts from GoDaddy to MediaTemple. Performance and cost were the primary reasons for this move. And, at the time, it seemed to be working out well.
However, it hasn't been perfect - we've had issues with time, and some freezes. And of course, while cheaper, it isn't free.
And of course, moving to MT didn't give me any more time to support the server properly.

The contact us link at the bottom of the site was not operating properly. The emails it was supposed to send were not going out.
This issue has been resolved. If you tried to contact us using this method, please resend your message.
