All I know is single engine, fixed gear. Took off from Gila Bend and was flying from California to Texas.
 
Very sad. Condolences to friends/family. Very close to where the F-16 crashed a couple of months ago.
 
I spent 2.5 years in Gila Bend in the early 70's and did some training there. Soloed out of that field.

Powered by a Lycoming IO-360 and built by the owner.
