FAA Mentel Health Changes/Updates

Lip service. Token changes to placate some folks.

No effective change ANY TIME soon unless someone finally gets thrown in jail for the criminal stuff they do.
 
False imprisonment, separation of church and state, malpractice, fraud, coercion, HIPPA violations, CLIA violations, federal patient bill of rights, pilot bill of rights, FAR violations…

Right off the top of my head.

I may have over spoke, I understand much is civil and administrative… but there’s certainly some criminal.
 
Specific examples? Of actual crimes? And who are we talking about? Much of what you assert doesn’t seem to be under the FAA.
 
I don't think it's criminal in a court of law sense at least but it's definitely really awful what some people go through for no good reason.

I would like to see the FAA directed to come up with data driven justifications for all of their medical requirements. Not necessarily automatically dropping anything that doesn't have that but... definitely evaluating if it still makes sense in today's society.
 
They have been, by congress. They ignored it. Reference Shaheen’s report.

Don’t take my word, look up the report and read it for yourself.
