Hello there Pilots of America,
Back in April I received a letter from the FAA telling me that I need, " A current orthopedic evaluation from your treating physician regarding your left leg amputation and congenital deformity of the hands. The report must address history, symptoms, diagnosis, treatment plan, current medications (name, dosage and frequency of use), and prognosis. Specific mention must be made regarding your range of motion, mobility, strength, and any functional limitations that would preclude you from safely operating an aircraft." I have tried contacting several orthopedic physicians in my area with no success of being able to perform this evaluation. Is there something I'm missing from this description in the letter or maybe I'm doing this all wrong? Please help!
