What's the average timeline for FAA investigations to DOJ prosecution for intentional falsification? I've been under investigation for about 12 months after a hotline complaint. Zero comms back from OKC since sending the requested documents. Now I'm looking at "no medical information available"

Class 1 ATP and it's been all good for the last 6 years.

Should I be alarmed it's taking so long?

Thanks in advance

12-24 months

But I’ve read over posts on here that say enforcement action isn’t likely as we move forward in time

Prompted by a hotline complaint regarding (2) mental health disqualifying conditions which I deny

However, I’m wondering if they will look into other matters…18v

The same infraction argument…choose not to report specific events…confirmation bias

2 suspensions and 12 speeding tickets…baby dui with injuries over 10 years ago

Got a new last name and new mvr

Looking at a 5 year snapshot

FIrst and foremost Intentaional falsification will DQ your ATP under 61.153(c).
"did you lie and omit?!" "Say it isn't so!" sigh.

Months and months and months is what it takes....
And Roller is right. If you have been referred for investigation....where's your attorney?
It sounds like you'll be done flying for quite some time.....

Checked “yes” for victor and november but failed to report one item

No mention of said omission to date

“Need to know”

I’ll post when we’re through this with all the tentative facts

Aviate, navigate…..then communicate

The FAA just received a complaint that a mechanic lied in a logbook about completing a required inspection. Should the FAA only investigate the last log entry or every log entry the mechanic has made on that aircraft?

It depends a bit on workload. I had one of these about 10 years ago. From final medical denial to the Letter of Investigation from the medical branch was about a month. Notice of proposed certificate action (revocation) from the FAA lawyers was about 6 months later, but the delay was mostly because I was already involved.

A name change would delete a previous NDR report? That doesn’t seem like that would be the case.

Welp, all you all waiting in trenches, go get your name changed!

Holy smokes.

WTH is a “baby” DUI? with injuries?

Two drivers license suspensions and 12 speeding tickets?

Thanks a lot. I fell off my dining room chair and spilled coffee all over myself.

Some people just don’t seem to understand that flying airplanes is a privilege- not a right.

Yup...so outrageous it makes me suspect that one of these has steamed into the forum, yet again:

I’m still interested in getting an explanation as to what a “baby DUI” is.

I wonder if it’s similar to being “a little pregnant.”

Certainly not a fishing expedition…

“Baby DUI” is a criminal charge for an underaged driver less than the legal limit of .08

Arrested but not charged…as reported on 18v…

The record of speeding violations remain the same…”infractions”.

Is there a box on 8500 for speeding tickets?

There is no requirement to submit such data…

Depends if the arrest was really a DUI or not. Did it affect his license...he sez "Baby DUI with injuries"? So 18(v) is yes. It's about the arrest not the outcome, anon.

With the DUI Hx, you can bet your backside that you will have to submit your DMV records….if they decide to give you a HIMS pathway option.
