If you have to ask, you can't afford it. For comparison, the F 35 helmet costs $400,000. Then again, there was this earlier verson from the 1970's

Fancy headsets for low-vis approaches seem like a bad idea. In the recent 737 depressurization, the pilots lost their headsets and had to use the cockpit speaker. If you lost a headset that you were counting on to land the plane, then what?

How exactly did depressurization make both pilots’ headsets stop working? I could see maybe an O2 mask would make it a tight fit, but that would be true of any headset. And also would only be for a a few minutes before descending to breathable air.

You go somewhere with better weather. It’s not likely or even probable you will be shooting a CAT111 approach after a decompression. Many airlines like Breeze are CAT I only anyway.
