Per the FAA Administrator:
"After 43 years in aviation and the last few years leading the premier aviation authority in the world, I’ve made the very difficult decision to step down as FAA Administrator, effective March 31."

Who's the frontrunner for filling his place?

BWAHAHAHA! Hilarious. He lied during his vetting. Maybe that’s catching up. Total sycophant and terrible leader. Don’t see this as any loss.

spoiler alert, probably isn’t actually quitting...

I doubt the Biden Administration has even thought about it, considering that he was only halfway through his five year term. It generally seems to take a while to fill a vacancy as a new appointee must go through Senate confirmation.

I can only imagine what "qualifications" the administration will consider.
