The eVTOL eIPP has been in the planning stage for a number of years just waiting on funding. The Notice proposal actually went out last year which builds on the 2024 release of the Part 194 Powered-Lift: Pilot Certification, Training and Operations Requirements rule.

No Chinese eVTOLs. They can't pass the FAA or EASA certifications at this point, similar to most other aircraft they build.
