Emergency Landing on the beach

Glad to hear there were no injuries. Is this one that'll buff right out?

They're never the same after they've been on their back.

Gald every is ok

Too bad about the 172, I'd bet if he landed on the wet sand, held it off, it wouldn't have flipped.

Backcountry training, IMHO makes hobby pilots safer than a instrument ticket.

I heard they wanted to repaint the wings and the CFI/Pilot used this maneuver to save on the prep work.

And where's the GoPro on this? TWO 16 year old students and nobody has video?

Glad they walked away. Next time land closer to the water and save the plane too.

Engine a teeny bit rough ?

I had a SP who was co owner of a 172 do that same thing. He was practicing TO & landings and apparently left the flaps down on the go, and for some reason ran off the side of the runway, and flipped over. Totaled.
