EAA Bell 47 Helicopter Experience

[Martin Pauly]

This was a first for me in 2025 when I bought a ride in one of the Bell 47 helicopters to see Oshkosh from a different perspective than I had ever seen it before. I spent the day looking at the whole EAA Helicopter Flight Experience setup and made this video to share what i learned.

It's a fun ride and I'm looking forward to hearing them all day from the campsite in a week!

It's funny. I'm around helicopters almost every single day during the week. One flies over, and I look up. All week at Oshkosh, I'm pretty sure I still look up. Every. Single. Time. Love that Bell 47 sound! I might have a condition...

I took a ride in 2015. Might be time to do it again this year.
