One would ‘assume’ they had enough runway to attempt the landing, if part was closed. There seemed to be a serious float then a hard landing, not really helping the situation. I didn’t look, they all make it out?

According to the Internet, there was about 5000 feet of usable runway they were supposed to be landing on, however; they put it down in a big hole just before that useable runway. Everybody made it out.
