Don't fly so low when spotting moose that the swarm of bugs you fly through covers 90% of the windshield. Don't ask how I know that one..

How do you know this? And, to follow up and tie another thread into this, were you performing a turn about a point or pylon?

Not going to answer how I know.. Turns around a point would be accurate.

I know my plane flies better a few lbs over than without fuel.

My personal fuel reserve is four hours, so needless to say, I don't take very long flights.
