Discovery Flight Tacoma, WA

Hey Everyone;

My Dad is getting ready to retire out of the Army in February and he is looking into starting flight training. He has always wanted to get his ticket, but he is a little unsure of being in GA Aircraft. He isn't afraid of it, he just never has experienced it. Does anyone know of a good school in the area where I could get him up in the air? I know this has been one of his dreams and I really want to see it come true.

After he has spent 25 years in the Army, I think it is the least I can do for him.

Tacoma Narrows is a nice, friendly airport with clear approaches to each end and a nice restaurant. Tower controlled.

No restaurant at OLM, but the flight could easily be arranged at one of the FBOs here, too.
