I'm starting to get a bit concerned. Seems far too coincedental and not at all random. The lack of investigative work is also concerning. I knew one of the guys that has disappeared slightly from previous work and he was brilliant. Anyone have ideas?

This is such weak sauce. Yahoo, Wash Examiner, CBS, MSN, and Newsweek are all sources covering this if you don't like the NYPost. (OBTW, while all those other rags were silent on the 'laptop' NYPost is the ONLY one that got it right, the first time, while the rest of them had their thumb in their collective asses)
 
I hear they are being gathered up for an involuntary space mission. Their ship, powered by alien farts, will travel at near light speed to meet Sylvester Stallone at a Zenonite space bar for boilermakers. Stallone was quoted as saying “They drew first blood!”
 
Without knowing the numbers of scientists, etc., with TS clearances, it’s impossible to know whether these disappearances are even statistically significant.

There is no longer any distinction between “legitimate” news sources and the tabloids, if there ever was.
