What options are available for carrying in the a/c?
Is there a reasonably current dl-able file one may carry on a device such as laptop etc for ref when airborne? AOPA?

It's a little pricey but Acukwik has really great digital airport, FBO, hotel, and support services information in an electronic format (CD I believe if you don't have wifi access for an online subscription). I use an online subscription at work for all sorts of airport, FBO, and customs information.

They also offer compact directories you can carry in the airplane with all the info.

Dave, AOPA's airport directory is available as an app for your iTouch.

as mentioned.. the AOPA eelctronic guide works on iTouch, iPad and iPhone.
ForeFlight works great on iPad and I think they have an iPhone version?
DTC has an iPhone version that has airport data and gets weather. it works on the iPad too.

There's an electronic version of flight guide (the little brown VFR books) too. Nice thing is that this works even when not connected to the Net.

Surprised NACOMatic wasn't mentioned in this thread. Yes, it's usually mentioned in connection with IAPS, but Doug does make a fully boomarked pdf AFDs available as well.
