I had to switch from Ethernet cable to Wi-Fi for my internet connection to my desktop; had to move PC Desktop to upstairs room for next month or so.
PC often didn't see the Wi-Fi adapter, and on occasion when it did, it didn't see the internet. Sometimes it would give me, for a while, the internet. I updated the driver, etc. No improvement. Device manager showed it was an Intel Wi-Fi 6 AX200, but when I pulled the card I see it was an ASUS. Got a new card and driver on a CD, installed, and seems to be working and stable.
BUT - the Device Manager shows not an ASUS Wi-Fi adapter, but still an Intel Wi-Fi 6 AX200.
This is a curiosity. Things are working now, so not going to change anything, but why does it show it as an "Intel" adapter?
