Dennis Hopper Gone West

[ScottM]

SIGH!

Great actor!

[AdamZ]

yes he was and may I add to that Cancer SUCKS

[Ghery]

Prostate cancer is a bad deal. Sounds like he didn't catch it early if it was just diagnosed in October and he died today. Get your PSA checked every year and pay attention to what your doctor tells you. As Yoda would say, "Save your life, it can!"

2 year survivor as of July 11.

I remember watching "Easy Rider" with Petter Fonda and Dennis Hopper. I dreamed of the day when I could take off across America free as a bird.

Dennis Hopper was an icon.

[snowbird]

Hoosiers. The best sport movie ever.

[Tim]

There is a story that John Wayne chased him with a loaded gun on the set of True Grit. I wonder if it was true? You all remember he was in True grit don't you?

No way....... Pilgram.

No way....... Pilgram.

I have heard that he could be a -cough- bit of a nuisance on set...I'd believe that more than one person wanted to shoot him.

He was so brilliant on the screen, though, that he kept getting away with it.

I sure will miss him...
