Well if I get one and use it, and am foolish enough to post anything here, I'll have to remember not to call clear of the runway too early.
We went for a late breakfast at the Crosswind Cafe in Owosso (KRNP) on Saturday. This time a crop duster did his duties - very interesting to watch.
Trying to get this thread back to the first page. Got these on my trip to KORH Worcester Mass. was a beautiful flight as the clouds were building. First is a sad picture of a virtually abandoned terminal( pre virus was somewhat active)second one is of the clouds building and the attachment( which won’t rotate) is of the CT river and where it meets the Long Island Sound.
Might need a refresher on the 250 speed limit under 10,000!! Hahaha My best ground speed in a 172 was around 160 knots in the cruise.
Some pics from one of my favorite areas to just put around. Tennessee River New Johnsonville/ Sugar Tree areas
nah I didn’t... just a full stop taxi back. It’s on my list, just need to get a little earlier start for it.
I have that one in my log book, but it's been a LONG time... Fun seeing you during the "mass exodus" lol
Washed the flying machine then went to Enid (KWDG) for breakfast Saturday. T38s from Vance on the ramp at WDG The neighbors were getting ready to fly when we got back home.

Killing some time before feeding the critters. Mounted a GoPro for a belly cam view. Have more videos from the flight to mess with. Short clip entering downwind.
Good lord.... how can you fly over such flat land.??? I would be terrified....I need some rocks to be at eye level when flying.....
1st photo, circular road, and other test tracky looking stuff. Is that one of the auto proving grounds?
You could probably just about trade your 310 straight up. The 195 is my dream plane as well. I think the most beautiful single engine aircraft ever built.
Took the wife up for the lake shore tour and lunch at 1C5 (Bolingbrook Clow). First Chicago approach controller sounded kinda like Mrs. @Radar Contact , but I didn't ask. Lunch was awesome and got some 3.50 gas at JOT.
Landing Mackinac Island. First time here by air. I typically arrive via sailboat with the drunken flotilla that is the CYC Race to Mackinac. I was not about to let its cancellation keep me from visiting!
