What happens when your Annual inspection must be done by August 31st?
Beautiful shot! Whereabouts?
Yes, sir. Sure was pretty.

Just west and slightly north of KRHP, Western Carolina Regional.
Cool! I was there about 2 weeks ago!
I didn't make time to land there today unfortunately, looks like a beautiful approach
Wow, I’ve never seen one in person. IMHO it’s the best looking single engine plane.
About to turn downwind for 4L at Kennedy.
What Meigs is looking like these days...
Flying Michigan‘s Upper Peninsula... We had a great time at the 6Y9 (Sidnaw / Pickett-Grooms)Fly-In!
Around Escanaba, MI:
North Fox Island on the left, South Fox Island on the right:
North Fox Island:
Last piston Otter working for a living iirc. Makes for quite a sweet noise at takeoff. PALH
On Final RW 25 at 6Y3 (North Fox Island):
We met this guy on our hike:
Lake Michigan and South Fox Island from North Fox Island’s sand dune:
Jet A fuel filters at T23. I wonder what is gowning in them since they probably do not sell much fuel.
I saw at the local airport it says sump daily on the selfserve fuel filter. I chuckled because I know they never do.
Went up to 10k for my first time.
Wow! There's sky and air and clouds up there, too?
Nice shot by the way, you probably had to come back down to get some breathable air, huh?
Yeah asoon as I was up there I could tell I didn’t have enough O2 and I could feel the pressure difference in my body.
I just did deep breathing and I was ok. It took me about 15 minutes to climb up there.
Decending from 11,500 (second pic) going to Tahoe/Reno, 12,500 back. Only stayed at 12.5 for a brief time. Didn’t feel any adverse affects that I noticed. Should have had my pilot friend quiz me to see.
Beautiful! One of my bucket list destinations...
Today's landing at Hemet-Ryan...met my friend and his wife there, who flew out from Fallbrook in a beautiful Cessna 140A. I like how my plane's shadow is so crisp.
Some days you see interesting stuff around the airport. Two shots from today:
Is that a Rolls?
Shore looks like it.
Yes, that it is. The pic doesn't do justice to the Spirit of Ecstasy bonnet ornament.
I think this is the outer outer frontal edge of Dorian in NEPA.
Some mountain obscuration, and Mount Rainier in the distance:
Seattle airports: SeaTac at the far left, Boeing Field straight to the right, and Renton at the close end of the water on the right. Downtown Seattle is directly up from the water end of Renton's runway.
Lake Chelan, in central Washington:
The Grand Coulee Dam in the middle:
Boundary County Airport in Bonners Ferry, ID:
Sunset over the Purcell Mountains shortly after leaving Bonners Ferry:
As an airplane, BMW R bike, and Subaru owner, I had to have this T shirt.
Great restaurant here at JGG (Williamsburg/Jamestown). Charley's. Wish I had more time, but had to eat and fly back out. Really nice people here and great food!
Now if your name was James.... this would be really cool.!!
James' own airport!
Yesterday’s flight was the longest to date in my Cherokee. Flew a PAWS flight. 7 hours total. KHZD-KCHA-KSRC-KHZD. Memphis center vectored me over the top of KMEM. That was cool.
Edit- Added the gumbo pic I made last night for LSU’s big win over Texas.
Might try for naval aviation.

The 53rd Annual Rhinebeck Jamboree was a great event.
Here are a couple of pictures.
The first is a picture of my ride in on Sunday.
The second is, well you probably figured it out.
What does owning an airplane, a bike and a Subaru have to do with the world is flat? Nice shirt....lose the hat.
