Where can I work as a CPL?

Check out the Caravan operators, aerial survey, banner towing, aerial photography, etc. There are opportunities out there if you look. My first paycheck was a week after I got my commercial license doing aerial photography in a 150.

Ferry pilot.

You can get a SIC spot on a Caravan with 350 hours, pay is probably terrible, but you can do it.

Is it true that most of these ''low-hour pilot jobs'' are still a one-in-a-million chance as these companies prefer to give these jobs to people who have more hours (such as CFIs) than those who just finished their CPL training?

SIC on a single pilot plane, I wouldn't waste my time.

CFI, DZ, spotting, ferry, banners, or better yet go to Africa of the pacific and fly charter.
