Final Approach
Passenger took this video. No editing, music, voice, etc., just engine, wind, and prop noise. I broke it in two separate clips.
One showing the Purdue campus.
The other showing a short field landing. Let me critique myself before anyone else does. (1) lower approach plus dragging it in (MP 13” slightly behind the power curve which is fine for short field, but I needed a steeper approach), (2) touched down behind the landing bars (I died if it was real; broke some rule in FAR/AIM), and (3) didn’t set my extra DG...never do (bad habit, use my HSI, compass, iPad, iPhone). Let er rip POA gallery- helpful advice appreciated though.
Did I make the first turn off? No. I didn’t want to push my equipment (brakes, tires, nose gear).
