Cost of operations/ownership at cycle end.

I'm more thinking a boat in Amsterdam.

Lots of nice boats. Many fixed up so it's hard to tell it was a barge. We were there for Queens Day (now King's Day). Everyone who could took their boats for a spin around the canals. And dressed in Orange. Not easy getting under the bridges, they've been drinking since early the evening before.

As I often say, money is equivalent to money. So, there's an opportunity cost associated with what you spend it on. Sure, if you're looking at the difference between a $41k and $43k plane it's pretty much a rounding error (especially with mx), but the $50k vs $100k is more substantial. If you have liquid cash you're not investing or doing something with, it doesn't matter. It does matter more if your finances are structured with a decent amount of investments.

Regardless, everyone can spend their money the way they want.
