I passed the CAX test this morning.

Note that 100% of the charts, tables, and diagrams are now on-screen instead of using the test supplement book. The screen was really too small, and the charts and tables can't be zoomed in, which basically means they're worthless. This is not a step forward.

Wow - they are pretty useless on the screen - are you saying the paper booklet is officially out?

Someone correct me if this is incorrect, but I believe the hardware at the test centers are owned by test center and not PSI. The monitor size could vary between test locations.

I am surprised the FAA proceeded with this change until the next provider contract where the FAA could establish standards for the monitors .

So what is the purpose of complaining about it here?
Oh, it's just to **** you off.

Seriously, I was just venting a bit, as I found it more than a bit frustrating. I passed the test anyway, but some of the L/D and performance charts were unreadable.
