Hey gang. Buying my first Comanche 250 in a few weeks. I’ve seen some stuff about the Int’l Comanche Society having issues. Is this still the best type group to join or are there other groups for info on these planes.

I think the Delphi group still exists. Check out delphiforums.com and search Comanche.

[I used to fly one, but its been more than ten years)
 
I still fly one, but I'm not on either forum.
 
The Comanche society is pretty much dead. There's a Facebook Comanche group that's active, as is the Delphi Airworthy Comanche group.
 
If the message is that the ICS is dead, it’s a damned shame. A good type club is a treasure.

I’d hate to face Bonanza ownership without the ABS and their excellent support.

Seems to have fallen victim to internal politics. Website traffic is dormant, membership way down and declining further. I agree, it's a shame, because there are issues a strong type club is needed to address. As one very respected former officer has said , the ship is sinking, and those with the tools to save her are rowing away.
