The young world traveller is in DEN. We're thinking about a dinner Friday evening. Anyone else want to join?

Can do the usual: Perfect Landing at KAPA

Or... Thoughts on somewhere else? Subject the poor soul to Casa Bonita? LOL!

We'll have to hit a consensus by mid-day Friday so I can throw together a reservation wherever folks want.
 
I vote The Usual or anywhere the remainder decide.
 
Since David just got a raise you should make him buy. :D:rofl:
 
Sorry, I will be otherwise occupied. I would rather be able to join you all for dinner, or be doing almost anything else...
 
Might you guys have an extra seat at the table for an East Coast POA'er visiting the Mile High city?

Sure Jim. We're not picky. ;)

Kinda looks like most folks would be okay with PL. I don't want to call them too late for a Friday reservation since they're always busy.

Maybe we should make the cutoff tonight? I can reserve a couple extra seats for stragglers.
 
I'm already obligated for a wedding Friday night - enjoy! :)

Thanks, Nate. Would be great to join you guys but I am afraid that I'll have to be a last minute addition. I am here for work and am supposed to have a networking event tomorrow night, so my availability depends on how long that runs.

I am staying in the tech center area so i don't think I am that far from Perfect Landing. I'll watch and update thread tomorrow and will just see if there's room if I can join you guys.

Heading into the city now. I want a beer. Thinking I'll try Wynkoop.

Sounds like a small gathering. I'm counting about 5 right now with us and David... Which is fine. I'm checking with some other folks offline.

Will see if I can do a reservation for 7:15-7:30ish tomorrow morning sometime, if that works for everyone.

DW needs a ride from Westminster area (Turnpike & Sheridan area) and I'm going to do that, up from DTC and back. No big deal if I can sneak out a little early. ;)

For a kid growing up on the Front Range their childhood is not complete without a visit there

...one reason I don't have kids myself is because I REALLY don't want to go back there:yikes:

Doh. Not looking good for me to join you guys, as I'd hoped. They've got me on a pretty tight schedule today and it doesn't look like I'll be able to sneak away. If time allows, I'll try to drop I just to say hi but don't worry about saving me a seat.

Nice small dinner. Karen and I, Murphy, Mr. White, and a late appearance by Doug from the podcast.

And then we went to Cold Stone Creamery for ice cream! :)

And AFAIK, we didn't food poison David like his previous evening's meal at Ruby Tuesdays. :)

Y'all missed out.

Wasn't there one in Tulsa too? I seem to remember going there about 30 years ago when we were out partying one night after seeing David Sanborn play on the island.

My memory is a little foggy though...because the concert was...
