Okay, that is a horrible stereotype! I can honestly say none of my Jewish colleagues and friends are cheap! Our corporate attorney however claims to have a black belt in shopping!

Why not just buy the largest available, then take it to your neighborhood alterations/tailor shop? You can have fabric added, taken away, whatever. It is not all that expensive to have done. Then it will fit you exactly the way you want it to.
