Citation "Oops" at San Diego

Rolling the odometer backwards. Rich guys didn't get to be rich guys who could afford their own private jets without learning a thing or two. :)

Oops indeed, tough to taxi in with the reversers deployed News Link
I'm not sure what connection you're making to the thrust reversers.

My understand is that the nose gear collapsed during their takeoff, fairly late in the takeoff roll. Deploying the reversers is normal procedure for a rejected takeoff.

Seems like it shouldn’t take 3 hours to get off the runway. I’d think they’d have the equipment to do it sooner at an airport like that

Who pays for the airport shutdown and diverted flights? Easily six figures I would think.
Anyone or does everyone eat it?

N-number search returns an old Kathryn’s Report page for N769XJ/C750 that shows a nose gear collapse on landing at KLNK with an incident date 12/30/2017.

An occasional divert is the cost of doing business. Charging it to the owner of a mishap plane is a slippery slope. If that would fly in court, then by the same token the guy who has a breakdown on the freeway and causes a backup would be responsible for all the consequent tardiness.

The risk of being liable for the secondary effects of accidents would bring commerce to a screeching halt.
